For sale on <doug demuro voice> CARS AND BIDS </doug> https://carsandbids.com/auctions/rN0...cooper-s
For sale is my 2003 Mini Cooper S with the JCW dealer installed option. These are getting rare and this one is in great shape. It's available at Cars & Bids where there's many more photos and details.
Go bid and get a piece of history you can drive
The JCW airbox and 380cc injectors weren’t available until October 2004. The earlier kits (like this one) didn’t have them.

Interesting. I wasn't aware of that.
So maybe mine is even more rare in that it's the stock (?) dealer installed version from 2003.
Looks like it did well at $12K. What was your impression of the overall C&B experience? Would you do anything differently?
Cars&Bids was very helpful - they actually put together the listing. A fair bit of back and forth was necessary though. I did a lot of "marketing" here, GRM, and Facebook to get people looking at the auction. I answered well over 200 people on FB marketplace.
what would I do differently ... I don't know that I'd do anything differently. It was overall a good experience, I got good money for the car, and the car has a new home
I will warn anyone that it's not a "throw a listing up" kind of site, it took a couple weeks to get the car listed.
I also had to explain to a lot of people how internet auctions work and C&B in particular. It's a new site, so people are a little dubious.
Overall a better experience than just throwing something on ebay or FB marketplace.
