I think it’s made of solid gold then covered with a little bit of carbon fiber to make it look really neat!

Thank you all for your input. I have sold another one for 450$ in 2019. Based on that I put this one for 600$ OBO. If you are interested you can make an offer.

I was really surprised that it sold that high in 2019, I guess it is the rule of supply and demand.

Some things are worth more for some people and less for others. If you are from the latter, I can understand.

The price will be adjusted as time passes, it is always better to adjust the price down than to put something for sale and feel that it sold at a discount.

Oh, and it has multiple inlays of the very precious unobtanium in it.

Peace and Love

There's gonna be someone who's got that super crisp lowlife cooper and is an oem nut... I agree , price is TBD because of unavailability of said parts.. just like convertible strut bars that used to be 30$ for both , you can't find them for under 100$ now.. same with the oem jcw carbonfiber dash n shifter... they're pricey parts for what they are but they are rare and imo are beautiful..if the post says 600 obo why get all upset ? Feel free to shoot the man an offer, it doesn't hurt to try... lol no isn't a bad word or offensive..

Here’s a link to Outmotoring who has the same part for $80.00.
https://www.outmotoring.com/32302147...ower-Trim.html

I understand what limited stock is and know that many parts from second gen cars are NLA. Still that doesn’t mean that a single parts with a JCW logo that originally cost under a hundred would even be close to $600.00.

You sold one for $450.00? Where? Here? Somewhere else? Post the link.

Greed is what it is. Just because you say you sold one for $450.00 doesn’t mean it’s true and even if you did trying to sell another at this cost is ridiculous and seemingly greedy.

I don’t normally bag on someone else’s thread but every once in a while you gotta call B.S. which is exactly what this is.

Good luck with your sale here.

Peace and Love ….. and greed~

The part number you supplied is: 32302147228 and it is for the second Generation

The part number i am selling is: 32300403582 and it is for the first generation.

I tried to find comparables in the past when i sold the first one and recently before listing this one, to no avail. There are none for sale or have been sold lately. Look for yourself and let us know if you find something.

Hope that helps in appeasing.

Very interesting website, they seem to have every single NLA JCW part in stock at 2006 MSRP, including R53 JCW Tuning kit, every JCW Carbon fiber part ever offered, it is like going back in time to 2006...

you should go on a shopping spree and tell us how it all went. Make sure you pay with a credit card, you might need the insurance..

OP has a a bunch of other listings, a few of them also "rare" items at ridiculous prices.... 20 new "for-sale" postings within a month is kind of fishy if you ask me. Also this account has a gap in posting for 12 years....last post was in 2010 and then all of a sudden a TON of for-sale listings? Its not even a part-out, its just random overpriced parts.

And the guy defending him MiniManAdam has a similar style of selling so that kind of checks out too. A bunch of his listings read like a cheesy car salesman "better act fast!" or "I''ll throw in a (unrelated item) for FREE!".

Both of you seem pretty sketchy, but I definitely wouldn't buy anything from OP.

Not sketchy. I’ve spoken with OP on the phone, along with another long time NAM member.

He is also beginning to list items on eBay (at better prices) if anyone wants the added protection of PayPal and transparency with what people are actually offering.

Seems some here don’t understand what NLA means, and the current value of specific items made in limited production. You either follow the value of these items over time, or you’re not qualified to know. Start with the correct part number, knowing that most sites still list them as available, when they actually haven’t been available for many years. Many Gen1 JCW bits starting going NLA around 2014. It’s not unusual to have collectible parts rise in value, regardless of what you think they should be worth. Btw, if you don’t know the difference between the Gen1 and the Gen2 logo, or the steep difference in value, then you shouldn’t even be looking at this item.

Agreed on subsequent comments along with post #12 being highly inappropriate. I too corresponded with the OP seller on one item of interest, despite asking price(s), yet too far apart for my budget. Not staying active on this forum doesn't warrant such criticism. OTOH, the OP either has an interesting vehicle collection with means to purchase such or dabbles a bit in the collector market. Notably, was runner-up bidder on the lovely modded '70 AR GT Jr that closed today at $54k. I was watching that one with envy as a former '74 GTV owner (from new for 25 yrs)...

Hello fellow NAMer

Very surprised at this post, i have been on NAM since 2008. Granted i wasn’t very active for a decade, but i am surprised that this can warrant such a post from your part. My interest has shifted to other hobbies hence the postings for items that i bought more than decade ago.

I promise i will be more active, i have a few other stuff to sell to discerning NAMers.

Thank you for the warm welcome back.

Yup E-bay is a great option, but NAM is a cool place to sell too…

Whats highly inappropriate about an observation? No one is criticizing lack of activity, I'm not the most active member myself. But like I said, returning to the forums with a ton of new and expensive postings back to back and no seller feedback is suspicious. When you've been burned by online sellers you start to notice patterns and unusual behavior is sometimes more obvious in hindsight. You're free to defend OP and think differently just as much as I am free to openly criticize, so get off your high horse.

Speculation is not observation. This is a for sale listing. Not a debate. Read the forum rules and move on.

Nobody is defending me, those are people who contacted me and exchanged with me. So they are mentioning facts.

Please do take the time to contact a seller.

You are welcome to contact me and maybe we’ll have something in common to chat about.

Cheers and Happy Holidays

It's a speculation based off an observation, I hardly think this falls under the category of "personal attack" but if you disagree you're free to report my post and the mods will decide.

  1. this is the exact kind of seller to look for. was in it from the start. bought lots of stuff long ago. never got to use them. developed other interests and hobbies. decided to cash out on some really good investments. i think you are to quick with your observations. your not alone. but you are out of place here on this subject. And bringing Miniman into it is even more bizarre.
