    Hello,

I hope this DM finds you well. I know this is an old post with you adding the sub/amp to your F56 JCW. I wonder if you’re willing to help me do exactly the same thing?

I am new to the Mini cooper and just bought a 2018 JCW 3 door hatchback with the 6 speaker set up. 2 front doors, 2 rear panels, 2 subs underneath both seat.

I would like to add a Kicker Mono Amp CXA8001 with line level input & a 10” JL sub in a custom box from a previous car. How would I know if there is a factory Amp powering all 6 speakers? If it’s in the same location as yours driver side read trunk panel?
how about tapping into the stock speaker wiring if I also want to upgrade the 4 speakers with a 4 channel Alpine Amp?

I am hoping you could assist, it would be extremely helpful.
here is my email/phone number if you could ping me?

    thank you in advance

sorry, missed you alert. I used a slim drill with a very long drill bit. A cheapie Black and Decker, that fit a 3/8" shaft, approximately 18" long.

LormaD. How did you fit a drill into the space where the wiring harness/grommet is to be able to drill the hole? I can't seem to get my drill in the correct place. It does not fit.

Answer ASAP :D i'm trying to get this done today, this is all I need to wire my Hella 500 lights!

    Thank you!
