Recommendations on glass repair in Md.?
ARgh! Great way to start the morning...caught a rock on the way to work, it hit the windshield about a quarter of the way up on the passenger side. It left a lovely star about the size of a quarter. Can anybody in the Baltimore area (I live in Bel Air) recommend a glass repair or replacement shop? I'm hoping this can be filled rather than replaced.
I guess I'd rather the rock hit the glass than the paint...but this is my first MINI defilement! ARgh!
Thanks...

Well, all I know is that I had a shop do it in annapolis and my plastic pillar covers flew off a week later.(long story, trying really hard to forget) I have not had any problems with my install from Banner. Now, when i talked with the guy, he indicated that the Minis have a bit of a unique window install and it takes doing a couple before things go right. Maybe you were one of his firsts.
He had the additional difficultly in dealing with the crap the other window installer had left behind. I guess the rule of thumb from this is that you better get a window installer who has done minis before.
