I want to get my hood scoop painted to match the black grill trim... any local painters here? Is there anybody in Columbus you'd recommend?

So is that to say that you want it satin black to match the plastic, textured black or gloss black?

Hmm... I want it to match the black trim around the front grill... I guess it would be gloss or semi-gloss black.

Your car is an R56 so you'll need some high temp paint.

Just kidding ya...

Actually you're not far off. There are some threads around here about scoops melting on 56's. I'd be sure the paint was at least BBQ rated. I'd say go with at least Chicken level if not Ribs.

actually, the heat resistant paint may be necessary.... I touched the hood scoop today after a wonderful Columbus 4th of July stop-N-go nightmare, and I just about burned my fingers off Anyways, back onto the topic.... anybody you'd recommend for a paint job?
