Old Fart's On The Dragon 08

We'll be going down in October again. OFOTD 08 is a go!!! In my opinion it's the nicest time of the year down thata way.

Babs Bambini & I are going down Tues Oct 14 & returning north Fri Oct 17. We figured a mid week tour of the area would be far less congested.



We are staying at the Blue Water Mountain Lodge 888-828-3978. http://www.bluewatersmtnl.com/index.html

They still have a few rooms if anyone else wants to come along. All silverback's, weedhoppers & other variations are welcome. Come one come all.

 

MSSD is the very next weekend with 30+ minis scheduled to be there

 

I'll try not to cause any trouble that would have any lasting repercussions for you guys.

Too bad my schedule doesn't let me be there when you guys are. Oh well.

Yep in my opinion it is the best time. Maybe as I'm getting older the fall colors are calling to me. I may be becoming a silver crested leaf peeper.

What a coincidence! We leave on Wednesday and return on Saturday. Tim and Sherry will be along and we are all staying at our usual spot in Robbinsville. We have a few drives planned, and we need this year to make arrangements for a meal together. Will discuss with you at the breakfast (actually, at Aaron's as we will eat elsewhere, other than Tim's).

As for dinner, Wednesday during OFOTD will probably be the best day!

 

Looks like a nice day for a drive, plus there seems to be the possibility of car care tips.

Actually I made a major calendar mistake. I have another event on Saturday, a covered bridge tour with the British Museum of Transport folks over here. So, I won't be at the breakfast on the 20th, rather I'll be behind the wheel of our 67 Austin Cooper S on a hunt for covered bridges west of Dayton. I'll talk with you via PM as we get closer to OFOTD as to meeting somewhere for supper on Wednesday.
