Tire Kicking session?? ;-)

Well next week is the next MINI Morning Breakfast at Tim Horton's. The release date for the new, new MINI is the same day. Anyone want to drive over to MAG MINI afterwords & kick tires on a 2007 MINI? I haven't seen one in person yet, but am looking forward to. I talked with Chad today & he thinks they'll have some, but I'll check later in the week just to make sure.

If we get lucky we could all take test drives in Aaron's new Mellow Yellow Cooper S. With any luck it will be broken in before it's delivered to him. Only for you Aaron.

I'm in for some tire kickin'. What do you think about having Chad buy the donuts and coffee and have the breakfast at MAG?

breakfast at MAG sounds good! or the least if we were going to MAG we could have it at the timmy ho's just down the street (riverside and bridge/33 st.)

Dan

(same distance drive for me so that's not the motivation )

NAM's right by my house, so I'm in. I have to ask NAM about sponsoring MoM in the Dublin St. Paddy's day parade anyway.

Matt, you meant to write MAG not NAM, correct?

Is the plan to meet at the Tim Horton's in New Albany (as usual) and then drive to MAG afterwards, or do you want to have breakfast in Dublin instead? If so, there's a Bob Evans directly across the street from MAG.

Problem is, not everyone reads the forums here, and Tim Horton's is an established meeting place. Maybe the best thing to do is meet there and drive over to MAG afterwards? OR, we can just say that this month, anyone that reads this and wants to kick the tires can meet at Bob Evan's INSTEAD, for just this month only? It's sort of last-minute to change the meeting place, I think...

Or have Aaron Sit at tim hortons and tell anyone that shows up to go to Bob's in Dublin or the tim hortons in Dublin right down the road. If we didn't do bobs and did somewhere were you don't have to worry about seating (that bobs is always busy) then people could stroll in anytime.

Dan

btw: Aaron sitting at the NA tim Hortons was a joke but we could ask him to send out an email to the list for the change of location.

Wow look what I've started. I don't think we have a chance of free coffee & donuts at MAG. Maybe one of you silver tonged devils can talk Chad into it. I'll have to call & make sure the truck with the 2007's has shown up.

I have a problem though. I'm supposed to deliver a set of wheels to Tim's in Nalbany. I'll try changing those plans to a Dublin location. Dublin Tim's or the B&E would work. Let's figure this out. We have most of a week to do it. Call your MINI friends & tell them of the change.

IT'S A PLAN!!! I just talked with Chad and although they have not received the 2007's yet, they were shipped last Friday and he is comfortable that they will be there. MAG will furnish the coffee and donuts and they would like to have us meet at 9:00AM when they open. That would give anyone showing up at TO's in New Albany enough time to get to Dublin. It works out good because this Saturday, the 17th, is also National Sales Kick-Off day for the 2007 Mini and Mid-Ohio Motoring will be the first through the door.

Chad also said that if the cars don't arrive because of the weather, he will let me know.

Matt and Aaron, is this a go?

That may still work, it would just be after 1. I have already seen and sat in one...have not driven it. Maybe I will have to go over after...if they let you drive them.

Sean you sound like you are coming down with something. Maybe you should call off sick Saturday. Go see Doctor MAG in Dublin. I'll drink a cuppa & eat a donut in your honor.

Thanks for talking nice to Chad. Very well done. They do have good coffee at MAG. It was the best part of my free oil change.
