Let's Draw!!

This idea got started in the Post Your Finds Here, post #270. And I didn't see a Got Too Much Time thread.
I thought it would be fun to post drawings done with this template. Attached is a test drawing to see how accurate this template is. Hope you can read the comments.
Let's see if any of you computer literate types (which I'm not) can do this without using your computer! My rule (since I'm self-appointed dictator): The only time a computer can be used is to scan the drawing when you are completly done; all others will be flogged. Airbrushing is allowed. You Silver Grey types, please note that you are not too cheap to scan in color.
Let's see how many variations we can dream up! Like Big Foot, two front ends, double decker, amphibious, robot, etc.
For full res drawing see IMAG-A-MINI test drawing in my gallery.

Very cool. I especially like your hand written notations. . . . is there some school where they teach people to write like you see on blueprints?

When/if someone nice enough to have an extra template sends me one, I'll submit something!

My neighbor got one of those templates in one of her interior design trade magazines and gave it to me last week. It's a very odd scale 1"=26". I'm guessing it's a metric conversion.

I'll get my daughters to draw something up!

Ditto Here.

I guess once you give MINI USA a down payment and the car is at port but waiting to be unloaded you no longer get nifty advertizing collectables.

It was mentioned in another thread, but the template can be found in Dec 2005 Metropolis magazine (architecture/design mag). I picked mine up from Borders today, $5.95.

Now I need some paper!

It's almost 1:24. I wondered why the 1:26; either not model builders, or they didn't think anyone so **** would notice!

If they are better than me, I'll have to make up a new rule! Or I'll get my daughters to draw something.

I attended an architectural trade school early 80's. Lettering is called chisel point. I have a special triangle (vertical leg). I also have a cordless erasure! Maybe I could be a museum exhibit.

If they are that scarce, I could draw several of my ideas, then send mine to whoever sends a s.a.s.e. Anything to get participation here!

OK! Here is the one Sea and her friend K. Jones drew up.

Those are fantastic...you have some very talented kids, Johnna. You must have an awesome gallery space on your refrigerator.

Thanks for this!!!! I've been wanting the template and thought it was only available in subscription mags. I bought Metropolis @ lunch, so now I can make MINI Christmas cards.

I burned out the bearings in my first two plug-in erasures! The freedom of cordless is like a Makita screw gun.

Thanks for the very first entry Sea and K. Jones! I like the border. The wheels are tough to do.

Thanks for the second entry Lily. I love the autocross theme. You should get extra credit for adding action. Also noticed the rear view mirror, mojo detail.

Attached is a diorama I built with the same theme!
See www.gslchampionship.org for my contest entry.

I picked up four coupies of Metropolis last night so I have four templates

Has anyone with the magazine looked on page 58?? I see no mention of it, or I just missed it.

When I suggested a limo, I didn't mean...
Yea, I saw it.

MINI Nomad

Let's dig up old threads!
Looks like everyone gave up drawing something.
The Mod thread got me to thinking...
The '57 Chevy stationwagon I had still haunts me. I did not change the windshield to mimic the warp drive illusion that severe curved glass created.
