Milltek

Category: Drivetrain
Price: $450
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R52, R53
Location (Region): Midwestern
Item Condition: Used

Milltek cat back back exhaust system, sounds awesome with no droning. Came off an '05 with 25k on it. Originally $1000+ new, local Colorado pick up, or buyer pays exact shipping. I am also willing to deliver to MITM in August.

Any suggestions on how/who to ship this system. It seems way too expensive via FedEx...The guess above is now where near what I was just quoted. I'll try another facility in the mean time.

Greyhound may be a better alternative.

Okay folks, sale is temporarily suspended untill I can get my act together. Shipping this dude is looking to be very expensive. EX: Colorado to Mass. is $90.00...via Greyhound.
So at minimum I'm looking at $80.00(est) to ship on top of $450.00 maybe too pricey.

Update

Shipping this cat back is too expensive, so the sale is open only to local pick-up. Sorry for any trouble, but by the time you factor in costs, one maybe able to find a better (non Milltek) option for less.

So, local sales only, can deliver to Denver and will deliver to MITM.

Pretty nice price. Picking one up tonight for about the same and I gotta drive 90 minutes to get it. The Milltek is nice for those of us who want something subtle but not JCW.

At least, thats what I've been told. We'll see once it's on.

In a nutshell, it is that annoying, low, loud sound your exhaust can make while driving at highway speeds. It is a constant, loud humming noise that doesn't go away.....ever!

I replaced my JCW with an Ireland Engineering unit (IE was a piece of junk), and then replaced that with the Milltek header and cat back exhaust. I LOVE IT. Sounds great, no droning on highway, and not too loud but certainly louder that JCW but with a great tone. Plus build quality is fantastic, and worth every penny. Someone should pick this up as you don't see many Millteks available on 2nd hand market. This is only the second one I've seen in over 2 years here on NAM. Consider bringing this up to Winter Park this weekend for MINIs in the Mountains. I'll be there too as Castle Pines based MINI. In fact running autocross tomorrow! I am SURE someone there would buy it!

So I did some looking, and Greyhound, as stated above, is most cost effective.

scoopy: $87.00 for shipping
MrCooperS: $87.00
Erdal: $86.00

Good cross section from East, Central, and Western US. $87.00 for shipping this bad boy.
