Part: Header / exhaust manifold.
Condition of sale: Will sell it with a new flex pipe as this one developed a leak. The flex pipe will need to be welded on and this is a shorty header meaning you'll have to have your catalytic welded onto it too, after the flex pipe. I need my catalytic so I kept it.

 

Sorry Kevin to point this out but it is what it is.
Madness ripped you off, that header is only worth 50.00 used in one peice and I know you probably paid 50.00 for the flex joint. Madness is a shady company, He sold you a 150.00 header for 900.00.

The HEADER NOT WORTH IT The header is not what is advertised on the website when questioned the vendor said quote: (the website has not been updated for a couple of years and this is what we sell now (same price no cat, have to buy cat seperate and weld in) I returned the header and my money was refunded. I bought the exact same header(not similar the exact same part # , box and header)for 1/5th the price from another vendor.

 

Compelling. What's the brand/vendor/manufacturer of the reduced price that you acquired after your refund? I'm in no position to get a refund unfortunately.

 

Sad but always true that stuffs come from China and Americans are ready to rip each other off with them. They are laughing their a$$ off watching us. World power we ain't no more. You should have fix the leak while the header is on the vehicle. Now it is off the header has to be installed to be repaired, and the burden is on the buyer and hardly anyone wants to invest in that.

Never buy from Mini Madness again. Overpriced, bad service and they rip they people off just cause they can. BTW Minirox which header is that?

Main thing that it is 2.25" diam and no longer than 10". Buy the time you are done it will cost 160.00 header 110.00 cat and 100.00 welding. 360.00 for a functional header and no codes.

 

Sadly I purchased this without knowing better however I won't expect anyone else to do the same. Now taking best offer considering the above discussion.

 

Oh thanks and how's the reliability and hp gain with this header setup? You switched to OBX according to your sig.

 

The original Madness header had a little plate spot welded on one of the runners with thier Name on it.

I wish they had a buyer beware forum. I got lucky by researching the part # other wise I would have got ripped off. I am wondering did the flex joint just fail ? The header is actually well made of 304 stainless and the flex joint is stainless also. I have seen flex joints fail shortly after a clutch job, do to not disconnecting the exhaust.

 

Sorry my sig had not been updated since 05 I think( updated). Anyway with my set-up I am running 209.8HP to the wheels.
