Talking Sprintbooster - Countryman Auto trans

Category: Drivetrain
Price: $200
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R60
Location (Region): West
Item Condition: Used

I installed this Sprintbooster on my 2011 Countryman All4, Automatic transmission and only had it on for 3 weeks before I had to take my Countryman in for service (removed the Sprintbooster before service and my MINI sat at the dealer for over a month). I never re-installed it.

Works perfectly, but I'm not interested in this type of part anymore. Bought for $290 brand new 8 months ago from a NAM vendor sponsor. This is the selectable version (red light, green light, yellow light).

Selling for $200 PAYPAL shipped to the US only. Contact me with any questions

Why? Just curious. Great price for someone though.

Unrelated to the sprintbooster use but it had to have the rear differential replaced...had issues with vibrations and they had a hard time diagnosing. All great since then

Does this really make a big difference in the acceleration? Does it work well? I'm kind of skeptical of this device.

A lot of people like the quicker throttle response. There are a few opinions throughout the forum if you want to read in more depth.

I have one on my R53 and would never go without it again. If I get another MINI it will be the 1st part I buy.

We're these vehicle specific? I thought they worked on all versions of a mini, and weren't only for a specific "countryman with auto" thing

I'm not exactly sure on the model differences. I thought there was a difference for sure between Automatic and Manual transmissions.

They are different.
The Auto uses SPR2095A
The stick uses SPR2095
This according to SB's website. http://www.sprintboostersales.com/shoppingCart.cfm

Well, now I wonder if it will work with a hatchback or if it's just the countryman. I will have to call them

I have one as well. I think it is a night and day difference. For the better.
