SOLD!

I am selling my lightly used Forge FM207V uprated Recirculating Valve (BoV). I had this initially installed in my 2008 R55 S Auto for about 5000 miles before I took it off the car and sold the Clubman. I never had a tune on the car or tracked it so the valve ran as a stock replacement with very light/normal use. Especially since it was on an auto, there was very little blow-off.

I recently re-installed it into my R58 JCW, but only had it in the car for about 100 miles. I have decided to revert back to the stock valve for now as I have no real need for an uprated BoV without running a tune or increased boost levels, so I am saving up for an exhaust and will revisit the BoV option again later.

The valve is in great shape. Everything looks good and functions properly. There are three lengths of tubing included. They were pre-cut for my initial install. They will fit any car as the long tube runs back to the boost tap, and the two shorter lengths go from the solenoid to the valve.

I am also including the Forge Valve Service Kit. This kit includes new O-Rings, a new piston, and grease. I also am including the ungraded yellow spring used for 15 - 23 PSI. The green spring (5 - 15 PSI) is currently installed in the valve. With the service kit, you are basically making it a brand new valve, even though all the o-rings look to be in good condition.

Link to Forge product page: http://www.forgemotorsport.com/conte...product=FM207V

**Note: The 3 hex bolts used to mount the valve to the turbo are not shown. You will just reuse the stock bolts holding the oem diverter on. They are the same bolts. **

Installation instructions are located here: http://www.forgemotorsport.com/media/FM207V(3).pdf

I am selling this for $160 with free shipping within the lower 48 states. I will ship out of the states for a fee based on your location.

If you have any questions let me know.

Thanks for looking!

There are a lot of benefits to this valve. It holds boost better and builds it more smoothly than the stock DV. I noticed it in throttle response as well as between shifts. On acceleration I notice it is much more even and smooth than the stock one. Also it dumps it off between shifts pretty fast so the boost is there for the next gear. It is no louder than the stock DV, but you can get a flutter sound from the blow off on this, enhanced more with a tune, or light acceleration, but otherwise the same sound.

This BoV is still actuated by the ECU by using the same electrical connection as the stock DV, so there is no CEL or anything like that. It's also a solid piece of machined aluminum and the piston is sealed with 2 o-rings. It can also support a much higher level of boost than the stock DV safely by using the different springs made for it. And if you happen to have the older stock DV's that could shred apart due to worn gaskets, this solves that issue as well.

I really loved this part and TBH am somewhat reluctant to sell it, but I am saving up for my exhaust and for now this is the first part to go. I pulled it off my R58 to re-grease the piston and replace the o-rings for maintenance. Once I got it off, everything looked in top shape, but I decided it was one of the parts I could part-out since I still had the stock DV to put back in.

I had this on my auto R55 S and it even did wonders in that car.

Hope this helps,

-Z

I notice that it uses the boost tap which would pose a problem for me as I already mad using one for my boost gauge.

Is yours a single boost tap or a dual? Does your tap piggy back off the MAP sensor off the the inlet manifold like this does? When I had this installed I had 2 boost taps. This one that installs off the inlet manifold, and the BSH tap that installs off the PCV hose off the rear of the valve cover. I was able to run gauges, the BoV, and a seafoam fogger.

The boost tap included has 2 taps. One is manufactured into the tap, the other is sealed with a small threaded bolt.

See I have the one that piggy backs the map sensor.

That's not a problem. I use Alta's boost tap adapter on the MAP sensor and just T off the vacuum hose before going to Prosports sensor. No problem reading boost(I'm hitting 23 psi consistently). I -love- this mod.

Here are a couple videos of what it sounds like. Without some sort of aftermarket intake, I think you won't notice a huge difference in sound from stock, but I have always had an DoS intake installed so I can't compare.

Here are some videos of what it sounds like on a MINI with a K&N Cone filter intake.

Go about 40 seconds in on this one:
