I am in need of a rear reflector (right side)for a 2003 MCS. This is NOT the side marker light. But the one that that fits into the bumper facing to the rear. They fit into the bumper cover between the backup sensors. I believe they did this for only a year or two not sure. If you have the right side or both sides i would be interested. Or if someone knows where to find them that would help too.

 

Thought adding a pic may help.

 

My 2003 March build MCS does not have these reflectors and I couldn't locate them in the Realoem.com parts catalog. This is a mystery to me. I don't believe I've ever seen a Gen 1 MCS with these either. Is this a US spec car?

 

oh, and my bumper doesn't have that row of round "buttons" across the back either. Are those access for removing the bumper from the carrier?

 

Yea, I believe it was for the US reflector , for the complete clear taillights kit 2003-2004. The reflector kits are NLA as well as the reflector red lens.

There was a kit for the regular bumper R50 & R53 and the Aero bumpers. Both NLA. Here are the part numbers if you need them to help your search.

The buttons are back up sensors.

 

Yes it is all NLA, that is why i was hoping to find one on here that someone might have lost the left one and changed it to something else, and still has the right side that they would get rid of. Or car they where parting out. I know wishful thinking. Search goes on. Thanks for all of the info.

 

Your welcome, just wanted to give you all the info I have or if someone else is looking for the parts.

I did find a reflector lens only used on the BMW side. It looks to be similar size and shape. It does not have the plastic molded section. But if someone is looking for just the red lens they could give is a shot. Similar to #6 in the above diagram. Since that one is NLA also.
