What do you mean by "new model"?

 

From what I was told by Jon at Burger Tuning they recently changed the software and the new ones have the CARB sticker on the case. These are set from the factory at 100% on the internal dial. This is what I have.

 

I think they probably had to detune it to pass the CARB. The older ones are probably going to be more valuable, and I recently sold mine. Hopefully the buyer is enjoying the power!

 

Either that or they were limiting liability by making sure you couldn't over adjust it and cause damage to the engine.

In any case it is sure an easy and inexpensive way to make more power in a N18 Cooper "S".
