Sold my R56 a while ago so I do not have a use for this anymore. I used this along with NCS Expert to reprogram many items on my car (key fob window up, fogs on with high beams, etc.). Used less than a dozen times and it works perfectly. This is the recommended cable for all of the coding threads and guides I have seen in the MINI and BMW forums; works much better than the eBay and Amazon ones.
