1st gen 05-06 headliner
Category: Brakes
Price: $135
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R50, R53
Location (Region): Midwestern
Item Condition: Used
Headliner is non-smoker, no rips of tears. I will clean up a bit, too.
I'm not sure if the later gens were different because I don't think the material separates from the "cardboard", so there is no sagging, it's more like a felt surface.
Great for a replacement or a project if you wanted to reupholster your, and didn't quite end up with what you thought!!
$135 shipped. Have a box and it's ready to go!!!

I am considering getting this from you, but have two questions.
1. Will it fit 2002 MCS (05/2002 prod date)?
2. Did you use DIY of any sorts when removing? I tried pulling my (that is totally sagging) without much success
thanks

I looked up my production in realoem.com and the (my) headliner has a production FROM 7/2004.
The 5/2002 had a date TO 9/2002.
2. There was a DIY here, in NAM. I didn't need to remove every pillar, just unclip from the tops. There is a expanding pin holding it up front and a push clip in a rear that basically held it up.

1. Look like production changes with your MCS.

I had to replace my antennae base, and from what I recall, it was only one clip holding it in that had to be unsnapped. I pulled the headliner over the C pillars, too, allowing me the space I needed.

look at the production date of your mini
if it has grab handles and/or side sun visors, then yes.
