If I recall from reading other posts on the Koni FSD struts, the spring holders are supposed to be fixed to the struts?
Others have had to return them to get new units when theirs came apart.
There was a thread on this topic a month back.
I am not trying to be a troll on your post, just pointing out something that came up in that thread as an issue. You may be able to exchange the fronts for a replacement set.

Nope, must be improper installation. I had these on without any issues whatsoever. In fact, after reading your information i gave Koni a call directly regarding to the mentioned "issues" and as confirmed by 2 techs: the spring holders are not supposed to be "fixed" or "welded" onto the body, they are sat/printed on the body only. I totally agree with the techs as i felt the car was moving awesomely without any problem. Could be improper installation causing.
