Going to have to be more specific, they made a few that aren't cross compatible. At least the year of it would help, better if you can find the manufacture month/year. Believe its on the sticker just inside the driver side door jam.

HPFP replacement

There is a technical bulletin out that deals with known issues regarding the HPFP in some n14 engines. The warranty was extended to cover this part. Dealer replaced mine for free last month. Just FYI

Funny story i had my car in at 117k for the high pressure fuel pump but mini said was fine and told other things that could be wrong... the Alta access port was giving my the code for high pressure fuel pump. So now 5k miles later you can tell that it is for sure going out and when i called mini about the the problem and had told them what's going on they said they can't help because it's over 120k miles.. even though i told them i was going bad but magically it was okay when they replaced it

It really depends on who you talk to. Same issue I had before and took the car to another MINI dealership - no resistance to my request and took care of the replacement of the infamous HPFP.

100K miles later I think I am going to need one. Crap!
