I had a failed freeze plug in my 2012 Clubman S and decided to go ahead and replace the engine. Unfortunately when purchasing the used engine I was not aware there was an engine change in March or April of 2012 when they went from the N14 to the N18, of course I purchased the N14 when I needed the N18.

We did not realize it was the wrong engine until it was installed in the car and realized the engine did not match up with the computer and had a permanent fault with the HPFP, it ran but had a check engine light that would not clear because of the incompatibility.

Really wanted to get the car running so went out and purchased an N18 engine so now I would like to sell the N14.

The N14 has 54,000 miles on it, I paid $3,145 for it (see pic), I’ll sell it for $2,500 and split shipping.

I also will have a video of it running on Monday, my shop took a video before pulling it back out of the car, need to go there to get it transferred over to my device because the file is too big to email.
