Slicks as in NT-01's they arent really the best on wet pavement and like to slide pretty bad in snow. I guess if I take it real easy, but if it gets spotty I could divert to 25 and meet yall there.
That means tomorrow I need to hunt down this VAC leak, hook my boost gauge back up, and see if I can get the idle to stablize on a cold start, plus go to my normal job, and routine. Bussy day but I'm in.

With or without your MINI you can still go on the ride
Hi, my wife and I would like to join up with you all on Saturday for the Icicle Rally - since we're coming over from the western slope and there's a chance of nasty weather on Thursday (when we leave to come over) we might not bring our MINI. Still would love to see the cars at the launch at Starbucks even if we don't have ours. If we do, we're in for the trip! Look forward to meeting you all then!

Yummm Pizza
Well hot damn, I put this in the wrong place. But I will steal the thread for this one. Sorry Jamie.
We will miss you Chuck, say HBD to the youngest, did you get her a MINI?
We will take the West route down to Lonetree, see you all there.

Opps...
Finally went out to Pizza at Old Chicago using our swag from Yalla Yalla.... Thanks Jeremy, sorry we did not invite you.
It was date night for me and Pat.
One of the benefits of Yalla Yalla is the really neat prizes as well as the food prizes.
I do hope next years team comes up with some good ones.
Thanks again, very yummmy Don and Pat

That was a fun run through the hills! Great people, good food, and fast cars, what else could you ask for on a sunny and warm Saturday? Some of us (mostly me) hit some unmentionable to the moderators speeds, and I even got some good video's with the Go-Pro. If I can figgure out how I will post them up. Lots of other pictures where taken, any good shots?

pictures of a very fine ride
We had a great drive (motoring adventure) tossing the Countyman through a few curves and the twisties.
Pat took a bunch of pictures while I concentrated on the curves and staying on the pace.
The CM did well with the group, we had a nice run down, some excellent BBQ and then split from the group on the way north.
Managed to move the mpg average up a bit motoring in the twisties, filled up after lunch. Up Hwy 83 managed to get 34.3 at moderate Hwy speeds and then the toll-way took the average down to 32.8.
Not bad for a bigger, chubby MINI. Oh yeah, pictures are here at this LINK.....
Jamie, a great route, and not even too much ice. Actually just a little loose sand and run-off from the old snow.
