I have been told by many of our Mini friends that they loved the C2C each July. We missed 2011 but am planning to lead this trip again Saturday June 23rd, 2012.

Hermann & Mary Beeh (MINIBEEH) said we are welcome at their Burg Mary Castle as out final destination but would like us to find food & restroom provision. The amount of prep & clean up was over the limit for a recurring event.

The club has committed to provide drinks, possible sandwich or snacks & renting 2 port-a-pottys that will take the pressure off of the Beeh's home.

[My Almost Annual Castle to Castle ride was always mid July before but we have moved up into June 23.]

Feel free to make suggestions for improvement!

Sounds GREAT to me, I missed not going on this ride last year.

July is fine with me as long as it is not July 14-15 as I know some folks are planning on going to MTTS. The Club Officers will need to make the call on drinks & port-a-pottys.

Sounds like a fun drive could be enjoyed by all.

The officers will consult on drinks and which gas station in Woodland Park we want to enjoy as port-a-potties. Should be do-able, we will get back to you.

Ray G, is working to set up the Pikes Peak ride in the same time-frame, so we need to be careful we don't step on that ride.

I have missed a couple of the CtoC Rides, time to give it a shot again.

Don, if you want I can keep the Pikes Peak run for 30 Jun. I will be out of town and unable to attend. I can set everything up (maps, announcement, coordination) I just will not be there on the day. This would open up 21-22 Jul for a CtoC run.

 

Ray, ok, so we need a leader for the Pikes Peak Run.

Mike, does the 21-22 July work for C&C? I sent you an email.

Alright, Castle to Castle planning has decided on Saturday June 23rd, 2012. Details will follow soon. This will be a long day, especially for anyone from up North, Denver & beyond.

Those coming down from the North have in past years included their own before & after ride details. See Castle to Castle ride in July 2010, 2009, 2008 calendars.

 

Castle ride planning / final details are coming together. Portable restrooms will be provided at the final destination (Burg Mary Castle) to alleviate anticipated 50+ people traffic inside Hermann & Mary's home.

MINI5280 is willing to provide SubWay Sandwiches & drinks at the final destination, Burg Mary Castle.

Is this something everyone, or should I say, most people would want?
