WTT: Your 2001-2007 MC or MCS To Trade For My Cadillac Hearse

I'm looking to trade my daily driver 1967 Cadillac Hearse for your 2001 to 2007 Mini Cooper or Mini Cooper S!!! My hearse has roughly 44,700 miles. This hearse has a brand new set of white wall tires, new battery, new voltage regulator, new alternator, and excellent brakes. This hearse also has A/C but it needs to be recharged. All of the gauges work properly, all of the interior and exterior lights work properly. If you're looking to REALLY make a cool statement, then This Is The Car For You!!! These old hearses make great old school SUV’s or camping vehicles! Check out the photos to get an idea of what you'll be driving around town if you decide to trade with me!!! If you've got a good running second generation Mini Cooper (2001-2007) and would like to make an even trade for my 1967 Cadillac Hearse, please give me a call and lets talk! This car is located just north of Los Angeles in the Antelope Valley. Thank you.

I think the guy in the passenger seat has about as much chance making this trade as the OP does.

Before slamming too hard, do some research! There is a pretty healthy club of folks who really enjoy "Funeral Coaches" and other service vehicles (Ambulances...), generally Cadillacs... and they do have some value as handmade "luxury" vehicles. New they run $40-$65k (check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hearse)

Some folks do interesting things with them:

Now the value of older hearses does vary, and whether this'd be worth a Mini may be debatable, but to each their own!

Yes, they're kind of the antithesis of Minis, but it'd sure be kind of cool running airbags and large-diameter wheels...

Eh, don't be haters. There is alot of potential there. I personal would throw some airbags on it and lay frame.

Not my cup of tea but cool nonetheless.

If nothing else, it would serve as good practice for a newb using a R/O buffer for the first time.

Of course, looks like someone already tried an orbital buffer on the hood... nice, round bare spot.

Heck, repaint white and go for the Ghostbusters theme! better, someone photohshop this as CR with a white roof and bonnet stripes and bring it to a Mini meet... stick a refreshment stand in back first, though... I think it's cool in a grim sort of way.

This is starting to feel fishy...

If you are wanting to trade for a 01 (they started in 02 here) through 07 then why did want to get out of your 07 MC lease. See the following threads:

Thread 1
Thread 2

in addition to these it appears you were looking to buy something else...

Thread 3

So what's the real story here?

To be completely and totally upfront. he should also mention the small, bu significant 'S' on that Hearse's title.

Hearse SOLD and 2007 MC Sold!!!!

OK to clarify all of this. Yes, I was trying not only to get out of my 2007 leased MC but I was in the market to sell or trade my 1967 Cadillac hearse. Well Cool News is, I recently purchased a really nice low miles 2006 MCS!!! Yes....I actually own it. It was a big mistake for me to lease in the first place, however it DID help me get into my great 2006 MCS! As for the hearse, I sold it two weeks ago. I used to be an active member of the Professional Car Society which is an organization which preserves and restores old classic and vintage Ambulances, Limos and Hearses. Anyway, I thought it would be interesting to see the responces I would get with my posting . Take it easy guys. Happy Motoring
