Year: 2005
Make: MINI
Model: Hardtop
Price: $7000
Mileage: 109500
Color: Chili Red
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (Region): Midwestern
For Sale is a 2005 Mini Cooper S
109,500 miles
Great shape, reliable and ready for a road trip!
I bought this car in May of 2015, flew to Newark, NJ and drove it 15 hours straight back to St. Louis, Mo. Since then, I've put 11,000 miles on it without any issues. I'm selling because my job has required more driving and hauling than I expected, so I bought a 325i Wagon.
I've kept up-to-date on maintanence with the following:
- Three Oil Changes using 0w-40 Mobil 1 or Rotella
- Brand New Bridgestone S-04 with 2,000 miles on them
- Drivers front wheel bearing from Mini – OEM part ($225!)
- Factory spec alignment for tire wear, would recommend more aggressive for "max performance"
- Interstate Battery
- Had a AP 200cell cat welded in
I have very extensive records for this car, organized by date in a three ring binder. This car has been very, very well maintained from new.
Factory Options:
-Chili Red body, w/ white roof and mirror caps.
-No sunroof model - slicktop!
-Factory LSD option
-Winter Package (heated front seats, washer jets, mirrors, and headlight washers).
-Gray and black cloth seats
-Xenon HID headlights
-Harmon Kardon stereo w/ Aux jack.
Condition:
No rust
Paint shines nicely
Wheels are freshly powdercoated
Typical exterior wear/tear from 109k miles
Interior is complete, but isn't perfect:
- scratches on plastic in the rear from hauling stuff
- stain and small hole on drivers seat bottom
Was rear ended at some point in it's life, but cannot tell in person... is on carfax.
Starts, runs, shifts and drives great without any issues. It is loud, a little stiff and doesn't have cruise, so keep that in mind.
The passenger side, outer door handle does not work
The driverside lock does not unlock with remote... must use key the key in the door.
Sometimes the backlight goes out on half of the HVAC controls.
Modifications:
Engine
-Helix 15% supercharger reduction pulley (~15psi).
-Custom one-off Carbon Fiber Air Box, w/ K&N cone filter.
-Stainless steel Tri-Y header, high-flow AP 200 Cell cat welded in – no CEL
-MagnaFlow Stainless Cat-Back System (2.5” piping, dual muffler) - loud
-Valeo single mass flywheel conversion
-NGK V-Power “Copper” plugs, one step colder (BKR7E, gapped at 0.030”)
-Autometer ProLite Vacuum/Boost gauge.
Suspension / Handling
-Bilstein PSS9 Coilover suspension.
-Hotchkis adjustable front camber plates.
-M7 strut tower brace w/ tower reinforcement plates (prevents strut tower “mushrooming”).
-RDR 3-way adjustable rear anti-sway bar.
-PowerStop drilled & slotted rotors, front and rear.
-Akebono ceramic brake pads, front and rear.
-Freshly powder coated Rota SubZero 17x7.5” wheels
-Brand New 215/45/17 Bridgestone s-04
-Alignment close to factory specs to promote great tire wear, but a little less performance handling because I drive A LOT – I can do an alignment to the buyers specs before they pick it up
Visual
-Aero upper grill.
-PlastiDipped Lower Grill.
-GoMINIGo Front License Plate Holder
-Cravenspeed Gauge pod.
The price is $7000 and the car is located in St. Louis, Missouri 63123. There is a lien on the car, but my credit union is very easy to work with.

I've added two cars to the fleet since I picked up the R53... something has to go. If this car doesn't sell, I'm OK with that. it'll probably end up being a autox/hpde car.
