I've had the pleasure of enjoying this amazing JCW GP2 for the last year, but alas- it's time for it to find another good home (hopefully here in the NAM community).
Showing as new, this GP2 (#0011) has less than 10K miles on the clock and is still covered by the full factory warranty through 4/26/2017 or 50K miles (and godspeed if you think you can crack that mileage limit before then).
I am the second owner of the car, having purchased it just over 1 year ago from a fellow enthusiast and car collector south of San Francisco. When I brought it home to Seattle it had only 5,500 miles on it, and I've only managed another 4K miles over the past year enjoying it as an occasional city runabout and weekend car. The car has been exclusively dealer-serviced at Seattle MINI with the exception of the Bridgestone Potenza RE970 A/S Pole Position tires (215/45-R17) that were purchased/mounted/balanced at Discount Tire (note the tires still have Certificates for Refund or Replacement valid until 9/29/2018 or 3/32" tread). The car has been garaged since new and has never been involved in any sort of accident. I have the clean Washington title in hand.
The sole modification installed are the LED-halo front fog-lights, and though my wife thinks they'd look great on her Countryman, I'll leave them on if you'd like them.
Not good enough? What if I told you this car was essentially shrink-wrapped to protect it from the fray of the open road?
Installed by CS Specialties in San Jose when new (14 miles on the clock), the car has fully custom "clear bra" film wrapping almost every conceivable contact surface, including:
- Full Hood
- Fender Sides
- Side Mirrors
- Full Front Bumper
- Center Grills
- Headlamps and Trim
- Full Doors
- Rear Fender Impact Area
- Roof Decal Protection
- Top Roof Header
- Lower Rockers/Side-Skirts
- Rear Bumper Cargo Strip
- Rear Decklid Grab Handle
- Doorsills
It will be difficult to find a cleaner, lower-mileage GP2. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the car- and even if there was...it'd be covered under warranty. If you're in the market for a GP2, this is the one you want.
Just like every other GP2, factory specifications include:
- Thunder Grey Metallic
- Special Upholstery
- John Cooper Works GP Package
--- Black headlight housings
--- Recaro sport seats
--- Xenon headlights
--- White turn-signal lights
- Anti-theft alarm system
- Heated front seats
- Automatic climate control
- Satellite radio
So if I love it so much, why am I letting it go?
I'm selling the car as my wife and I are expecting our first child later this year, and we agreed that something with a rear seat (any rear seat) was essential. I've found myself a fantastic JCW Clubman that's currently parked in the garage alongside this bad boy, and while I've tried convincing my better half that we should keep them as a set...her logic (and my wallet) have prevailed.
The car is currently located in Seattle, WA. I am happy to take additional photos or answer any questions.
Here's hoping we can find this car a good home here on in the NAM community!

You know, I actually considered doing the retrofit myself, but ultimately it seemed too daunting. Hat tip to you, though- and thanks!

Thanks, Minnie! Here's hoping between the new Clubman and my wife's Countryman we'll be able to dodge the minivan bullet for the foreseeable future. We're going to try, at least!

Also, don't be afraid of the minivan. I am a true car nut and have no idea why people hate minivans so much. Nothing is better at doing what they do.
This is certainly off topic as you are trying to sell your car, but it does give you a free bump. Good luck with the sale!

Based on your recent posts in other GP threads, I can't tell if you're actually in the market of just want to protest the values that current owners are asking for.
If you're actually shopping and you'd like to make an offer, I'm very happy to talk with you. Otherwise, I guess...have fun?
Thanks for the bump!

Thanks for all the well-wishes, folks- I agree this car is going to be a hell of a deal for the next owner! I'm really going to miss the car.
PMs replied, car's still available at this point so don't hesitate to get in touch!
