also keep in mind the aerokit was never a JCW branded part and was never factory installed so it’s not surprising to see a JCW without it. You should be able to run the VIN to see whether it is a factory or dealer installed kit.

no such thing as an automatic MC40 so it’s either not an MC40 (unlikely given the seats and decals) or just mis listed on Facebook (super easy to do)

I've looked a bit... Hope one of the JCW specialists on here can take a moment to help me out.
I was wondering if anyone knew... if, for 2006 MY, the 3AL JCW-Kit had different shocks/struts/springs/sway-bars.... If so... what were those specs... or maybe, point me to a thread for that?? Maybe a brochure for 2006 MY JCW options.
Was there a JCW strut/shock upgrade package for MY 2006?
thank you in advance.
Eric

The factory JCW came with the standard sport suspension. Yes, there was an optional JCW Sport suspension, which included lowering springs (10mm) and different struts. These suspensions were available for dealer install, and were NOT included with the JCW Tuning Kit, nor were they included with the factory 3AL JCW Package. These have gone NLA for the past few years. Here is a photo from the 2006 JCW Accessory catalog as requested:

Thank you for posting that....
I've read about "jcw" shocks on the R56's... but not on the 53's... willing to bet that a simple FSD-SpecialActive Koni upgrade would far surpass the factory JCW strut/shock package tho....
Cheers and thanks again to all of you here !

...although lacking any S stuff, still very very cool to look through.

The only R53 JCW brochure I'm aware of is from 2005 and it looks like this:
Easy to find on ebay for under $10.
Some quick pix from my phone...
There was also a very small German one pager foldout thingy.

Stumbled on this a few weeks ago for a lot of tech data.

The 2004 JCW specs give more info for some reason.

05 S lots of JCW upgrades/mods 58k miles $7000

Not sure if it seems sketchy to me, just get a weird vibe from all the info, some stuff seems weird. Like “57k miles but exempt because of the year...exempt from what...emissions??

Here is a good synopsis of what was included in the R53 JCW kits. The factory install (denoted by 3SAL on a build sheet) are all the 210hp kits and include the JCW brake kit and optional LSD.

the owner of that site also made this list of JCW part numbers that I occasionally search for things from.

Wow where did you find that one, i've been looking for that one for over a year. Already bought several early R56 ones as they look the same...
Do you know if there is a partnumber for this folder? mostly printed on the backside
