Little history of the vehicle, I purchased it at 97,300 miles with a blown motor. I purchased another motor from a 2006 Mini Cooper S with 68,000 miles. Before reassembling everything, we know how much of a pain it is to work on the Mini Coopers, we did a full over haul on the motor. With the unknown maintenance history of the new motor, we replaced the following to address any future headaches that may occur, all replaced with Genuine OE or OEM parts listed below. NO EXPENSE SPARED!!!
It's a really great and fun car, great on gas, easy parking, will last another 100,000 miles! I just have too many project cars going on right now.
New Radiator
New Thermostat/Water Pump
New Oil Pan Gasket
New Timing Chain
New Head Gasket/ARP Head Studs
New Valve Cover Gasket
New Rear Main Seal
New Motor Mounts
New Clutch
New Pioneer Head Unit/Radio with Bluetooth Music and Phone Calls
After market Intake and Exhaust on the car, sounds great.
