That looks like a duell AG body kit. https://www.ecstuning.com/b-duell-ag-parts/v-mini/ That body kit cost more then they are asking for it now.

They dont make that stuff for the Gen 1 MINIs anymore.

The owner says that he had the nose refinished but the clear coat is peeling on the door. Did these early cars have problems with the factory clear coat?

Say its super rare and someone put some Money into it back in the day. Still remember seeing a 50K new 2005 R52 Convertible at a dealer...those were the days.

if someone were to have bought my R53 with all the OE MINI AND JCW accessories it has now it would have been a $45k sticker (no markup).

For reference, the MINI aerokit would have been a $2500-$3000 option when this car was built. So someone paid more that double (maybe triple) for the Ocari kit. I remember wanting a set of Ocari cowl scoops real bad back in 2005/2006.

 

Yep, it was an R52 2005 MINI Convertible JCW with every option. Carbon fiber dash, scoop, trunk grip. Had those red seat inserts. Think R90 wheel or the other BBS 17" then even had a print out sheet full of dealer factory MINI add ons.

 

Looks like its gone, did anyone get it here?
