M7's SEMA photos 2007

I have been fortunate to attend the SEMA show for the last six years on behalf of M7 and this was the first time I was able to have the time to take a lot of pictures. I thought that maybe for those of you that are unable to attend the show you might find them interesting . The SEMA show is the ultimate candy store for the gear head with high performance parts for ALL types of vehicles . Hopefully my snap shots will give you some idea of how varied it is. It was tough trying to take shots amongst the crowds so please bare with me. I have close to 500 pics and will post them in groups as time permits.

Interesting chrysler concept car. As soon as i took the shot a guard came up and told me " no pictures " . Too late

Interesting little hatchback.

GT-40 replicar .

The buisness end with a " bed of snakes " exhaust.

Free M7 decal if you can guess what this twin turbo was in LOL

Yes an Xb

Not much Xb left inside either .

Don't ask LOL

Hard to beleive this started out as a classic MINI

Here is the front honda powerplant

Oh yes and here is one in the rear .

Amazing detail all over .

The paint is unbeleivable. THIS car was truly Fireballed

More of that rear engine.

And I thought i had a lot of gauges

Old school power was everyhwere.

I got yer BLING rite here

Well done muscle

Pleanty of hot bikes as well.

This quad was insane .

Classic colors in the Rousch booth

Even the engine stands are cool.

More Rousch power , 427 mustand track version.

Pretty wild honda S2000 wide body

Another hot honda

Drift cars were everywhere .

A stray Ariel Atom with side panels even.

Cusco in the house.

Street rods for days . How LOW can you go.

Factory Five always has some interesting rids. Here is the bare Cobra chassis.

One oftheir sports touring types.

And another .

Thats it for now , I'll post some more soon.

The guys at APR love there Ducatis and make some nice CF pieces for them as well as auto parts. This one shows the unpainted panels.

And here is one painted .

They are into the domestic market these days as well.

" I'm sorry sir but we are going to have to void your warrenty "

An actual race car

Some serious heat relief in this hood.

For you Big truck fans

Bonneville special . I think this ran about 350.

This is Tanner Fausts drift ride. Nice guy and doesn't just drift .

This mustang was insane.
Mind you , you are looking at the TRUNK.

At least most of the motor is in the front .

Turbo air inlets.

Control center.

Not bad for a old mustang.

Another for the bike guys .

I think this was a 345 cross section.

This was stuffed.

In this

Control center.

Reaves Calloway is at it again with another vette project.

For you NASCAR fants , Jeff Gordon's ride.

Chevy is BAAAAAACK. The Camero rides again .

Thats it for now, much more to come .

Oh no , another basic show corvette.

Looks pretty normal so far.

Ok maby not so normal unless mid engines were an option in the 60's

Really some nice work here the photos do not do it justice.

Bad azz Camero drag car.

I wonder what the code was back in the day for the Viper engine option ?

Odd concept car .

Your basic all CF elise

Vaugn Gittens drift mustang.

And something just as usefull

Out of the norm .

Old school

With a flair .

Do you really need that many scoops .

Oh maby you do . Turbo times two.

More to come .

A few more to ponder
This was one interesting intake system.

Kind of a chick pic

For the truch fans . These were in the Ford booth.

Hydro powered.

Quite the paint job.

More Ford booth items.

This was an amazing truch chassis. It had to be over 20 ft long .

Amazing detail.

If this is the new WRX I am NOT impressed.

Different take on the old Vette.

Lotus 11

This mustang had some very nice fab work.

For the Porsche fans.

And for the metal work junkies. This one was truly unique.

The Mickeys " big mouth " look is really catching on.

This is Hulk Hogans Kid's drift car .

Cosworth in the house.

Cosworth F1 goodness .

And the story about it .

For you Skyline fans, you know who you are .

You think you have a turbo? Sheeeeeet THIS is a turbo.

Always had a " thing " for the Pantara.

Thats it for now , only a couple of hundred to go

Late night group.
Here is a mustang owner with too much time on his hands .

There were a few NSX's there . Come to think of it , more NSX than minis WTF?

This is for when you want to get dirty.

This mini was here last year but it still had a ton of work done to it.

Here is the " back up " motor

Like i said tons of work on this little ride.

Bad Azzz GT-40 style.

More dirty fun. Desert buggy.

Come to think of it there were way more NASCAR cars there than Minis LOL
Here is Stewart's ride.

Unique way to keep the dust off your car.

Bonneville lakster style.

This body

wraps this frame

and is pushed by this motor

Goes this fast

Oil power baby

Talk about articulation. Rock crawling has gotten huge in the past few years.

They even have a play area for them in one of the parking lots.

Parking was so tough they had to stack them on TOP of the trailers

Thats it for tonight,

Here are a few more for you all.
There is as much going on the outside as the inside. Unfortunatly its hard to show the scope of the events. These were shot from the escalator up to the tram.

There have to be a few hundered cars outside on display.

Nicely detailed chevy.

Something for everybody

For the truck fans .

Nice track toy .

Quite the wide body .

More concepts . Hate the snap shot , like the flares.

Just another Ford gt ?

Not exactly Try twin turbo for a dyno charted over 1000 WHP.

Old IMSA style air dam.

Kinda quick

And I thouhgt i had holes in my hood

Clean Mopar

Sebon in the house for you import fans.

Yet another matt finish car. I like the look but at SEMA it has been a bit played out over the last 4 years .

And another matt finish. Hey Tim does this look familiar ?

Which came first the chicken or the egg LOL

Tonights offerings .

A real hollywood cruiser .

Drift style .

Turbo and then some.

Bad to the bone .

I got a kick out of this companies display. Talk about the basics

WRX cosworth power .

Matt finish is very overplayed at SEMA but it still looks cool. Time for something new though.

Evosports track can. Now THAT is a wing

Now this is a diffuser ,

Some serious fender work here.

So you have a carrerra GT and you live in So Cal and they are on every street corner , how are you going to stand out in the crowd? Well you could send it over to Gemballa for a little makeover We were up close and personal with one of these in Germany this summer and it is nothing short of amazing. This orange isn't bad but I personally liked the red one we saw better.

More to come .

Thanks for the offer but due to the lovely writers strike I have about 3 more days of work until its over and one of them is Friday. On the plus side I will have lots of time for Mini related activities over the next few months . It is good to see some new faces coming out to the track. Where you been the last 5 years ?

Craziest Quad hillclimber I've ever seen.

Another one of those crazy street quads.
