Beware

Same phone number from username "Norlan" supposedly in Erie PA tried to sell me wheels in response to my old WTB ad and got hostile when I backed away. A similar pattern with apparent scam attempt with another long time forum member who will likely chime in. Seems is same person registering with different new forum usernames but with same contact info. Agreed, BEWARE...

Just make sure to do your due diligence, and you should be fine. There are scammers everywhere on-line, and this is nothing new. If I don't get the warm and fuzzy about a transaction, I'll ask for a specific picture to verify condition and ask for a small piece of paper with their screen name and date hand written on it. If they refuse or can't comply for whatever reason, no deal. If I can verify the item in consideration, and verify possession, my confidence level will go way up.

Raaaaaat on the loose!!!!
Well, this guy is a damn rat, and he's still at it. I'll list all the contact info I have on him. I didn't even bother searching the forum for the username, else I would have found this thread. I'm disgusted with myself for doing the F&F BS and letting my guard down.

Trust, but verify. Assume all internet sellers are scammers, and do what you can to verify the transaction before sending any monies
