Auxiliary input between switches

Well i just finished bleeding all over my car, i mean working on the mini. I decided to do something different. I did not want to install the auxillary input in the glove box and i wanted it accessible. so i put in between the switches. I first drilled a hole through the front empty spot to see inside. (i could not get the back cable off at first) so since it looked like it was ok i decided to drill all the way through and install the cable, well after i drilled through i tried the switches. no fog lights and the pass window wont go down, just up. So i then broke off the connector in the back (didnt know that you can just flip the clip to the left side....) and took it apart. figured holy crap, this is a circuit board i drilled through!!!! So after cursing a bit i drove to radio shack and made it there by 8:56 pm right before they closed. got a 7 dollar soldering kit, got back to the house, ripped apart a old usb cable for wires, and then pinned out the circuit board, solderd new connections. tried it, and it didnt work, took it apart again, fixxed connection that went bad............ now wala, i have a custom front mount aux input!@@@@ let me know what you think!!!
ohh, every switch works now too...

No. I use my iPhone for either pandora or my iPod. I did not want to run a cable from the glove box to outside. This looks factory without the cable installed too

I think that's great. Its another great option for those of us who like the stock appearance.
