Annoyance

I have an H/K cd/mp3 player. I also have a Sirius Stiletto unit in my car that is direct wired in. Everytime I turn my car on, the cd player defaults back to the cd in the drive. If there is no cd then it defaults to fm radio. It very rarely stays on the AUX input...even though I always turn the car off while listening to sirius. I believe the car is trying to help me out because it doesnt detect the aux source right away. (the sirius unit takes a few seconds to boot up) Is there a way to deactivate this annoying feature?

Whether there's a signal or not my car will stay on AUX if I set it there, perhaps the connector in the back is loose or missing contact so that without the power from the sirius unit it doesn't recognize the aux. input at all?

My experience is the same as Deviant's. Aux stays on whether something is plugged in or not. The loose connector theory makes sense.

A ground loop isolator may help. If your Sirius is connected to power (cigarette lighter), the ground loop can confuse the headunit into thinking there is no aux input.

Ill check the connections. Another strange thing, I dont recall this ever being an issue with my other reciever, only with the stiletto2.
