Droid paired but not connected!
Hello Everyone!I am a new Mini owner as of 8/01! I have an original Motorola Droid Phone and have managed to get it 'paired but not connected'! I have tried 5 times or more! So did the dealer and so did Verizon! My Motorola Bluetooth ear piece says the same thing when it is not turned on. When I turn it on it it says 'connected to phone audio'. I cannot get the car bluetooth to respond. I am wondering if it needs to be 'turned on" some how and is not?
I am very frustrated that no one can help me!
Thanks!

with the car on make sure that the phone is paired to the car and make sure that the headphone is "disconnected", "not connected" then turn the car off and then back on this should cause the car to re-see the phone. On the phone you should see a question asking to accept the connection. Answer the question YES. if there is a check box for "always connect to this devise" or "automatically connect" make sure you check it. From then on it should connect automatically.
If you have any problems come back and tell us a little more about exactly what happened when you tried this.

Droid paired but not connected
I'm having the same problem. I tired the suggestion but it didn't work for me. What's really frustrating is my other Droid worked flawlessly with the Mini. I had to get a replacement Droid and now it doesn't work. I've spent hours on the phone with Verizon and Motorola but no one can resolve it.

First I want to thank you for your willingness to help with this.
I'm running a Motorola Droid (I think it's called an 855) It's the first Motorola Droid that was released. It's exactly the same phone that I had before as far as the model and OS version.
I'm running version 2.2 on the Droid. I'm not sure sure how to check the firmware version on my Mini but I haven't had it in the shop in over 6 months so I'm pretty sure that nothing has changed there.

From what you stated above it sounds as if you are trying to get the MINI to discover the Droid and that will probably not work.
Now, I am not sure exactly how the Droid works for bluetooth but on my blackberry I have to set the phone to discover the MINI not the other way around. There should be a way to set this in the bluetooth menu.
But it is porbably in the network/bluetooth settings area on the phone. Have it try to discover the MINI from there.
Let me know if this helps.
