Car stereo and on board computer

Would it be a problem for OBC if I unplug car stereo? I know that car stero gets data from OBC, but is OBC 2 "aware" of that?

Thanks.

yes as parts of the OBC are physically in the Radio in fact most of it is in the radio That is why it is so hard to put a aftermarket radio in the dash. Teh Japanese make a cable that goes from the head unit to the speedometer so that all functionality remains when the radio unit is moved to the secret compartment. Last check cost was about $400 for the kit plus massive amounts of shipping cost.
