Porsche Radio **** question ?????/

I know this is the Mini Forum but if anyone out there knows anything about how to remove the RADIO ***** off of a 2000 Porsche 911 please help.

Mt friend has a Porsche and the ***** on the radio are melting and very sticky. I guess the rubber is just oxidizing or something. The Porsche forum is useless and even though other Porsche owners are having the same problem it seems nobody there has any idea if the ***** just pull off or do they have set screws and the radio has to come out of the dash to replace them.

A lot of Mini owners came from the Porsche family so if any of you can help please do.

They just pull off. I replaced both ***** on my brother-in-laws boxter last summer. Be prepared to pay too much for new ones. About $15 each as I recall and that was with my PCA discount.
