I have a question for those that are familiar with the Mini navigation system.

I have a 2003 Mini with nav and recently noticed that when I get in and start the car, it takes a minute or so for the display to light up. Meaning, the screen is dark with nothing being displayed, very annoying Note that this was not the case the past six months since I purchased the car, only a recent occurence.

Have any of you experienced this? What was the problem?

Next time you visit your dealer, ask them to upgrade your nav software to the newest version. That should fix it.
