Thank you for the picture diary. Can you comment each picture to explain what is going on through the process?
Looks like an R56 with HK because of the two speakers in the door, am I wrong?

 

You’re welcome 016, I’ll try to put some explanation to them tonight. And NO it’s not the HK, just 6 SPK standard sucky system, All I did so far was follow Kevin’s instructions on the R56 trim removal and subwoofer install from http://www.integralaudio.com/ Since mine is a JCW I have to wait until I get Kevin’s new instructions on his new amp bracket that came with the kit.. I just got it last Friday and Kevin has not got all the instructions done yet. Should be done tonight according to Kevins last email. I got the first batch of the Soundstage for the MINIs other than Bata ones that Kevin set up… at least that what I see and have read on here.

Well I got the system finally finished/installed on Saturday (I still have not heard it as I’m waiting on the new harness which was wired incorrect, should be here today) I took the car to BMW Saturday afternoon and had the computer cleared by my buddy, the computer goes a bit nuts when the battery is disconnected and I had a list of codes 2 pages long showing everything that happened since the barratry was disconnected. Plus I hit the start button with the seat out so that was a big time fault…I will have it re-flashed once again next week just to make sure its all ok.

Here are the final pictures with a few of the car at the end. I made the speaker grill for a cleaner look and also I can now mount another shelf on it which I’ve still to make. I want to be able to have one with the woofer exposed and still be able to put on the supplied one that came with the system.

I will post pix later once I make the new shelf se-up….
