Disappearing SAT icon on radio display

2011 Cooper S Hatch with factory-installed Sirius Satellite radio.

Worked fine for nearly 3 years and over 56 K miles.

Overnight, the SAT icon has disappeared from the Mode options on the display - left only with TUNER, CD and AUX.

Radio works fine on tuner - just no longer "knows" that I have a Satellite radio ...

Anyone else have a similar problem? Suggestions?

[... and no, my Sirius subscription did NOT expire ]

Finally took it to the dealer.

They say that the Sat radio needs to be replaced ($1400+).

Sat radio came standard with the car ... didn't last 3 years - but lasted OVER 50K miles!
