Aux Input, and Ice:link, does it work?
I currently have the Aux Input. I'm getting tired of it. I am constantly getting all of the cords tangled up, and I hate having a charger and a line for my iPod. I want to get an Ice:Link now. Will I have to remove the Aux Input, or can I have both?
thanks!

I'm pretty sure that I read somewhere that it was icelink OR the aux input. I believe that they both go into the same plug in the back of the HU. But don't quote me on that. I have a Creative Zen, so never really looked at the icelink.
An alternative to your cable problem though could be to buy one of these handy little gadgets:

Yes - to clarify, (although I don't have an IceLink yet), my understanding is that the IceLink replaces the CD changer input, which of course is not a conflict with the AUX input. No issue here - unless you wanted both a CD changer AND the IceLink (why? An IPod holds WAY more than 6 CDs!).

Edge... that's what I must have been thinking about. Thanks for correcting me. I hate it when I give out bad information.
Wish they had something like the icelink for my creative player. I like it better than the IPOD, but doesn't the ICELINK give you control off of the steerring wheel? That's the only thing I really miss. Oh yeah, and ID3 tags on the HU would be a nice addition also. Oh well, my AUX input cost $40, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Added hint.... I looked everywhere it seems in local shops like compusa and bestbuy and Radioshack. None of them carried it.
