Has anyone had any experience with a pair of inverted subs in the hatch of a Cooper? i built my box tonight and i'm gonna built the plexi to cover the other side of the subs. i'm thinking maybey one inverted and one flush mount sub next to eachother.
i'm gonna revise my box now. i'm just gonna make some 12" square boxes to put on each side and have a amp rack in the middle at floor level to hold the amp and prevent the subs from moving around.
ive run out of ideas for the box(es). i dont want to completely rip off one of the nice ones ive seen, but i dont know how to fiberglass, so i'm limeted to flat surfaces and MDF.
Hey man. All four of my 12's are inverted. I cant tell a difference with sounds quality at all. I actually think they look pretty damn cool inverted. Good luck ..nice box!
Randy, do you have a template for yout boot floor? i built one tonight, but i dont think it looks too good. i might want to start over and try again, but i'm not to sure yet.
ok, ive got my final idea in pen and i have to go get some more wood today to finish the assembly. i'll have pics tonight hopefully of the box either mocked up or in the early stages of assembly. I think this one will be a bit different than the ones i have seen.
