I am currious, just how many have gone that extra distance and built a
full boot box?
I want some storage.
On the other hand, I just want to go wild and build a sweet system with no regard for the storage back there....what little there is.
I would love to see some pictures of some cool systems.

Has anyone build a magazine/show quality system yet?

300watt RMS class D amp pushing a Pioneer TS-W254DVC 10" wired to 2 ohms in a 0.4cf sealed fiberglass enclosure (I did it all myself, install and build).

clarion center channel with external amp

As for your system Davbret, interesting design. What do you esimate
the Dbs are on that sub? What about the hrtz?
Currious because it looks kinda small.

I have looked at the links for custom systems. Most have
been there for a while. I am cusious about new systems
that people have had the time to think about and build after
viewing those first generation systems.

 

It's really not that small. It's on par with the JL Audio stealth box size, actually a bit larger. It extends below the false floor as well as protruding out.

My friend who lives for competition audio (SPL, 10 12" JLw7? in a 1999 Scooby GT, so loud it actually hurts!!) came over the other day and we measured the system:

85 dB SPL
18 Hz

I just remember the peak numbers.

haha...i know how you feel...one of my friends has 2 12inch w7s with a 1200 watt pg amp in his ws6 trans-am....i thought nothing would hit harder till just this weekend my other friend got his 2 12 inch competition bramahs installed with 2 d-revolution amps (each rated at 1700 watts rms) in his escalade. HOLY CRAP! i thought i was gonna have a heart attack riding with him. if you ask me there is a point where there is TOO much bass....thats why i'm not majorly bumping in my mini....just one 10 inch w3v2 with a 300.1 jbl amp does fine for me.

 

if anyone is interested i've got a box that fits on top of the rear ledge, no install needed with a 12 inch phoenix gold installed, approx. 1.25 cubes. carpeted in charcoal for sale cheep! e-mail me t.fillmore@attbi.com
