There are 8 speakers in the HK system. Anyone could tell me where are the 2 extra speakers?

christfb1, welcome to the MCO.

The two extra speakers are located inside the rear speakers. The ones in the rears are two-ways. That is, two separated speakings in one housing.

Nick has got it right; the 8 drivers are in 6 locations: 2 tweeters and 2 mid/basses in the doors, and a co-axial in the rear side panel (consisting of a woofer and midrange) The lack of high frequencies in the back actually help the soundstaging of the stereo.
