Hey all,

I've got a question here. When I took delivery on 1/21/03, my motoring advisor said that MINI was planning on offering a hands-free adaptor kit for cell phone usage, later this year. If you look on the radio display you can see the little telephone symbol to the right, I believe. It doesn't light up, but it can definitely be seen (like when the sunlight hits it). Could that be what it is for? Also, if you look up top where the switch is for the sunroof, you'll see the slits for the microphone (or so she told me).

Anybody confirm or deny this?

Thanks.....

The schematics show wiring for hands-free, but it is designed for European market / phones. Maybe there will be a US version one day ... or maybe not.
