Need parts/service in upstate ny
So I got my somewhat recently purchased 03 MCS checked out by Keeler MINI in Latham and I need a tie rod, control arm, control arm bushings, splash guard, fluid flushings.
I'm really not excited about paying the quoted $1,900, especially for stuff somewhat simple like tie rod installation. I'm looking for a recommended shop and method of getting parts. Around Troy, Albany, Saratoga, Clifton Park, Schenectady, etc. (or do you get your parts online?) Any feedback is so appreciated! Where do you guys go??
Thanks

I would try Helix.. www.helix13.com
Something interesting I found online.. "thefind.com" search engine which brings up the following search results:

For parts you can call Classic Mini, they are out of Ohio but their prices are fair, will special order whatever you need and ship fast. They are a vendor here.
For the actual work I second Quality Foreign Car Care Inc. (actually I am headed there tomorrow to mount my tires on the new wheels).

Mini Cooper Repair Shop in Upstate New York
There is a great dealer in Highland, New York, Auto's By Joseph 845-691-5500, this guy has a large selection of used Mini Coopers for sale as well as providing service at a fraction of the dealer costs. I purchased by MCS about 2 months ago, and have been totally impressed.
