Just thinking out loud here. Those who read my posts know that's a dangerous thing and question if I think at all.

Uptick was thinkin' about a RDR 1.5 run in the snow. GMINI03 as well.

Antsmini is eight weeks away from his new ride. He wants to beat on the old and not the new. He also wanted to do a night.

Let's give Antman his wish and do a night ride and provide him with a viking funeral.
I'll check the moon phases and find the next full moon in January. With a full moon and reflective snow should be plenty bright. Uptick could lead the way with his flamethrower light mod.

We could meet and drive into the night or meet late and motor through the blackness into the sunrise.

As for a title..RDR 1.5 "The Moon Dance" ?

He just took all his stuff to Florida for a two-week vacation.

Yeah I forgot how many creepy child molestor look alikes, like you were in Florida. Seriously some scary pics you got there buddy. Place totaly lacks any culture. Great if you like Wal Mart though.

Anyway, dunno why Florida people are in the NY forum...but I digress. This meet should be good. Me and Maxa talked about it on the ferry ride back from Long Island. Now we need to iron out the details.

Also, Maxa.... might wanna post this on MINI2 and Yahoo group. There is reason Gene never posts his events on NAM, and now you can see why. All of our NY crew will still read it, and none of the trash here will.

Your right, I am saving my money so that I can buy something instead of rent it. I get along with my parents just fine, and Im 23 not 40, I know a lot of people who are doing what I am doing. Seems smart to me, rather than squander my paycheck on rent I can save up. Always good to hear from you Stovepipe.

I fail to see the point in intentionally antagonizing Ants here. Can't you at least be civil at some point? There was no need to post this in a regional forum just to bust him. If things didn't work out for him in Florida, so be it. Don't push the issue further.

As far as posting events on this board, I read all the stuff here in regional. If I can't make it, no need to post. I suspect people also tend to decide to go on group drives with organizers they know, and Gene is far more visible on Mini2....

Oh don't we just love vacationing in Florida????

I keep hearing outside of these websites about how much people would like to burn the state down all the way to Key West. But I've been all about the Flat Peninsula and there is so much to treasure. Too bad it's all being filled in for tract housing and strip malls - but then what state can't brag such magnificent progress?

Don't know you guys yet but will soon.. Putting my deposit down next Saturday... Can't wait to do some drives in the spring in the PA NJ and NY areas and stir up some dust.. :evil: not trouble...

Tony:

I am with you on the staying with the P's and saving.. I am 33 and still renting..
Just now feeling like I could think about buying in the next couple of years..

To be able to live someplace safe, clean, and quiet you have to pay anymore...
My rent is a first time mortgage and I have to pay it to live someplace decent around here.. $1350.00

So save your $$$ while you can and good luck! Wish I could do the same thing but am not lucky enough to have that option anymore..

See you guys in the spring unless I can get Scott L to let me Nav before then!!

Night runs aren't THAT dangerous...me and ants drive all the time at night. Hell, I did the Litchfield route the night before the meet at like 1:30...and I wasn't going slow...
