If I had brake ducts, I would leave them in, and cut the center of the grill out. Not sure I like the grill missing entirely, or not, but it's your ride. The front of your MINI is going to get rock chips either way. It just a matter of time before the FMIC gets them too.

I honestly don't see how showing the FMIC can make a car look ricey - There's a difference here, I hope... For your consideration -

Exhibit A -

Exhibit B -

Exhibit C -

One of these things is not like the others, and it has nothing to do with whether or not you can see the intercooler... LOL

That's not what I said, Nick. I said no grille makes it like ricey or should I say "ghetto"? Unless its a Supra or R34 then I'm cool with it. I like the FMIC to be hidden or on the down low. No need to advertise.

Speaking of ricey ghetto stanced stupidness I had some punk wanting to mount a external oil cooler to the front bumper of his R56 today.

We will also be heading up Friday afternoon - with the MINIs of Bedford Caravan - assuming that it's going to be a meeting location again this year.

Our group meeting in Bedford should get together and arrive at the same time so we can all head out together.

I wish we could have headed up Friday but not this year. Unless my new boss gives me the use to his house in Lincoln, then I'm good.

For those not going up on Friday, do we want to meet Saturday morning and head up

not sure my plan either, if my friends end up hiking the mt that weekend then I'll have a place to crash if not Saturday it is. On a side note im thinking about removing the sport link trailer hitch, coming up on a year of owning the car havent used it once. Is it worthy the hassle to take it off for a cleaner look and shed a few lbs.

Or you could keep it and add oil sprayers

They added that to the menu last year. I imagine its on again. I did encounter a few larger vehicles on some of the turns.

Just took some time to install the new helix intercooler. Install went well with only one broken button clip.
