What's the difference between MINI specific insurance and normal auto coverage?

Is there any coverage difference/benefits to getting Mini specific? I have Geico now, and paying $134/month.

OEM replacement parts only
Rental car coverage
Roadside assistance
Towing

IDK what else. I originally had this issuance on my e46 so it just got carried over.

Dropped off MCS at Kensington Autoworks this morning. For front and rear brakes, coolant flush, brake fluid flush, alignment, tire balance, and SI.

It was indeed, Mike. The bolt just spins and spins. Bedford told me they'd never really seen that before... I would assume it's because they've never tried to take out a headlight - because everyone I've talked to has at least one of those bolts rusted to its receiver.

I bet if they have removed a headlight it would be on a low mileage car not one out of warranty. Which bolts is it in the diagram?

Bottom right hand tab, above the HID ballast. #13 bolt. The insert is a part of the sight shield/radiator support.

Honestly I think you are getting ripped off Mike. I have all of that through Geico and way cheaper than what Liberty wanted.
P.S. I'm not as young as you think sir. I just look it

I don't know my exact cost but for two minis and the blazer, we don't pay a whole lot. We go through an agent who shops around for the best rates. We are currently insured through Washington Assurance and they have been great with everything for the last several years.

Wouldn't hurt to get a quote from AAA as well.

Thanks for being specific.......
Valley pans, valve covers, timing chains, alternator, window regulator, and nav unit are things I know to look out for. Any thoughts on what else are infamous?

lower and upper control arms, steering components, whole cooling system, rear trailing arms and end links, and wheel bearings.

Mirror glass is $400+ if it's a high line car.

thought of some more.

timing chains and components, Cats, and the auto trans are known for blowing up. A trans rebuilt cost more than the car.

So years are you looking at? Don't say your looking at V12s.

Nice looking with average mileage. Will this be replacing the R56? Carfax? Repair records? Ran the VIN and that is not a sport package 7. No sport seats or 3 spoke sport wheel.

A friend of mine just bought a one owner 2001 Dinan 740i Sport Imola Red with 70K for $8K. Just an FYI

WHERE DID HE GET THAT?????? Imola is a crazy rare color for the E38's, especially the Dinans. Possibly replacing the R56. Entertaining the idea of selling the JCW to Katherine, and grabbing this one. 2 owner, clean carfax, service records, all that jazz. I really want a 740I, not a 740IL, but the color combo, miles, service history and m sport make this one towards the top of the list.

That IL is not an M-sport. It just has the M Parallel wheels. You missed my above edit. My buddy bought his shortie in Boston somewhere. It matches his 04 Imola 330i ZHP very well.
