www.gostowe.com is the official site of the local Stowe Area Association and caters predominately to the larger inns and such. Anybody looking for a smaller inn or B&B should try www.GatewayToVermont.com or one of the other sites for more intimate settings.
Enjoy!

What a wonderful day in Stowe, VT. Sunny, in the 60s and fall was in the air. This year's OktoberFast was held on the same Top Notch field (as British Invasion) along next to the Arts and Crafts show. My drive from the house up and over Rt 108 Smuggler's Notch is always spirited. Certain driving times dictate enjoyment levels due to out-of-state leaf peepers, first thing in the morning=better.
There were loads of vintage and new German cars. This year was much better than last - it's just getting bigger and better. Great old cars were pulled out and exercised for this event - BMWs (Isetta to a Z8 and everything in between), VWs (1959 oval window Kafer to a custom Jetta BBQ!), Mercedes Benz (1938 170V Coupe Cabrolet), Porsches (1959 Speedster to a new Caymen) Audis and even a Lamborghini Gallardo (Audi engineered) sneeked in. Just two MINIs, my La Roux and a Hyper Blue S - I need more competiton! I ended up with the MINI Peoples Choice Award, my first car show win ever . Miss Vermont was there for the awards too. Snid showed up for a quick chat and we planned a MINI wrenching session later at my garage.
La Roux nestled around leaves and a sea of BMW's, Mercedes, Porsches, VWs and Audis
Vintage 1938 Mercedes Benz 170V Coupe Cabriolet
Uber kewl BMW Isetta
Sarah Watson, Miss Vermont 2006
The other MINI Cooper S
Lambo Gallardo
Two class winners parked together. 1973 BMW 3.0 CS and my 2006 MINI Cooper S.
Nice award!
