SEMA 2008 shots

I just finished processing some snap shots from the recent SEMA show and thought I would share them with you all . Many would like to make this show as it is the " promised " land for any gear head but it is not open to the general public . These photos should give you some idea as to what goes on and is on display. Please bear with some of the fuzzy shots and haphazard layouts as I am only working with a pocket digital and it is a ***** dodging people to try and get a clear shot . In any event here is SEAM 2008

That's not race trim, that's a Mark Donohue / Sunoco trim.

Very old school.

This guy had crafted this body in New Zeland and brought it to show off his metal working skills. Was really something up close .

Bonneville style Cobra

I am sure someone has a better shot of this car but it was a real work of art.

This Ferrari looked damn evil .

Quite the body kit.

Ths full race Lambo was interesting .

The Subaru booth had a few interesting rides as well .

Anybody in the market for a 300hp 135 mph snowmobile?

Old school Chevy muscle

This car carrier was unbeleivable . The amount of detail into every part of it was amazing . I hope you can get some idea of the work involved by these shots .

The entire carrier area was polished metal top and bottom .

Do these names ring any bells ?

Here is another hint

This is what makes it go

And if you didnt get it by now here it is .

This was an interesting engineering exercise .

Just how many power adders can you find ? Lets see , supercharger , check , turbo , check , Nos check , warrenty ? no way LOL
This is about the most powerfull rat rod I've ever seen .

Serious off roader here .

Check that LED light bar out.

Found this neat little ride in the parking lot .

One of Foose's creations .

There were far less drift cars here this year but her eis Tanner Fausts

Those are some awesome pics Randy! I think the person's crazy who'd ride the 135mph snowmobile! My favorite was the murdered-out 550 Maranello.

I found this odd looking car at the show that I thought you might find interesting . It is from a little known form of racing F something or other . I dont know how it will ever become popular though as apparently they turn left AND right ? Oh well I thought I would put a few shots up for you all .
Randy

Notice they replaced the ultra expensive real disconnect wheel with a less expensive model. That would have been a hell of a souviner!

Back to more " normal " cars in a bit .

They had a nice selection of vintage dragsters there .

And for those realy insecure types that need the biggest SUV on the block we have these .

And then there was this Twin Turbo Lambo on a turntable .

For you monster truck fans , you know who you are .

One word for this , Why ?

And thats it for SEMA 2008, looking forward to next year already.
