Parklife - go put a deposit down on an Elise; I just DARE you to sell that within 6 months of ownership!
here's my spread since I got my drivers license 8 years ago:
1985 Pontiac Sunbird hatchback - navy blue, 5-speed, rustbucket
1997 Dodge Neon 4-door 5-speed "Sport" - Red
1998 Jeep Cherokee, automatic, 4x4 of course, total junk - Black
1999 Dode Neon R/T 2-door 5-speed - white w/blue stripes (cop magnet!)
1999 Chrysler 300M - silver, auto-suck...oops, I mean auto-stick
2000 Dodge Dakota quad cab 4.7L V-8 - nice engine, red
1993 Ford Mustang Cobra - fun, but a total pile
2001 Dodge Neon ES, 4-door 5-speed, black - annoying
1993 BMW 325i 5-speed with //M3 suspension, awesome cruiser
2003 MINI Cooper S - aka Mr.Motor
2004 MINI Cooper S - aka MM2
The MINIs are of course my fave to date, however I loved my Bimmer, and suprisingly the Dakota. The Cobra, whew, I couldn't sell that thing fast enough!
Motor-On,
Ryan

Your recent MCS purchase puts you into 2nd class in my book.......You better get buying another couple of MCS.......

I owned those three before they became as collectible as they are now. Who knew? It gets worse - I remember passing up the opportunity to buy a really nice Mercedes 300SL Gullwing for $10,000 in 1976.

PKT RKT,
What did you ship the the UK? Inquiring minds want to know.
I purchased my USA spec. MGC in London and shipped it back home to the USA when I moved back from Europe about five years ago. I know the "C" originally came from Europe to North America in 1969, went back in 1990 and made the return voyage in 1999. Damn, that's a lot of Sea miles on that C.
p.s. my "missed opportunity" was a 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona (440, six-pack, automatic, national show winner) for $10K back in 1981. I know, I'm a dingbat too.

BLUBELLE - 9/02 production 2003 MCS IB /W Premium, Sport, Cold pkgs, Lapis blue interior, Magnecor wires, Alta Pulley, Moss Skid Plate, Chrome Trim Interior. Motoring since 10/18/02. I V-1 do you?

Funnest car prior to the MCS...a 1990 Ford Probe GT turbocharged/intercooled..... coolest and best kept secret in the Universe. Still got it (demoted to winter car, alas) but WHAT A MOBILE.
shipped it from the UK to Mexico, drove it there for two years, drove it up from Mexico City to sunny Houston and after a couple of years there movet it by truck to the Land of Cleves. Has 53000 well driven miles on it and is still a keeper in my book. The salt may change that, we'll see.

I've had my license for 10 years, but it's only been valid for 5.....
'67 Nova - gold - great prom car!
'87? Omni - silver - great jumping car
'78? Delta 88 - green - aka "Sea Swift" - great in the winter!
'91 Festiva - silver - got hit head on by a drunk
'75 Scout - orange - got taken by the State Troopers cuz I didn't have current tabs, no insurance, never transferred the title and no valid license. whoops!
'93 Festiva - green - bought it from my high school buddy who later got it back when I got my MC. He has since given to a friend of his and it's at 250k+ miles.
'02 MC with a fully valid license and no tickets!

Okay my list is relatively short but hey I'm still relatively young
1986 BMW 325es (now owned by my sister and still going strong wth over 200k)
1989 Volvo 760 [wife's inhereted car - biggest boxiest Volvo ever. Lost in a head on collesion]
1992 BMW 325i (decent cruiser)
1993 BMW 325is (still the fastest car I've ever actually owned - I still miss it!)
2001 BMW 325ci (the car I sold for my MINI - no regrets)
2002 MINI Cooper (current)
2000 323iT Sport Wagon (current) (The most underrated [US only] BMW currently available - especially with the manual and sport package)
There is also the 1986 GMC Jimmy I technically owned for a short period of time while in High School (long story) and there have been several work trucks associated with summer jobs. But it's still less impressive than others here. So to make up for that (and to save face!) here's a partial list of car's that my dad or uncle own or owned that I've had to the pleaseure of driving extensively:
1966 Jaguar XKE
1972 BMW 2002Tii (the car that started it all)
1972 Lotus Europa (one of the only cars that out handles the MINI)
1979 Porsche 928
1989 Porsche 928 S4 (The best high speed GT I've ever driven)
1989 BMW 535i (what I learned to drive in!)
1999 BMW 545iT Sport Wagon (if only they imported the 6-speed in the US!)
1998 M3 (4 door)
1986 BMW 325es (now owned by my sister and still going strong wth over 200k)

After 10 years of Driving!
Let me see. The first thing I drive was a 1980 Oldsmobile Cutlass. (Green) I didn't like the green on that car. Well I then moved up to a 1987 Toyota Tercel. I really like that Car but soon moved up to a 1997 Nissan Pickup Truck. Never had any problems out of it until it went up in flames. Yep not funny. Gas line broke. Next was the 99 mazda Miata. This was a good car until 80,000 miles then I was doing repairs on it about once a month. Here is the list of things I had to fix on the MIATA. O2 sensers, EGR Value, Cat converter, PCM, O2 sensers again, Door Speakers, The top three times, and one new moter. It was a piece of crap!!!!
so here is the list of cars again
1980 Oldsmoblie Cutlass.
1987 Toyota Tercel
1997 Nissan Pickup Truck
1999 mazda miata
And Now 2004 MINI COOPER S. Its Green too but must better than the Cutlass.
