My list

96-98 1973 MGB bought fixed up and sold it. Barely even drove it
98-03 1999 VW Jetta Wolfsburg Edition. Bought new, pimped it and showed it. totalled by some idiot who thought it was a good idea to cross 2 lanes of traffic 10 feet in front of me in 8 inches of snow
00-now 1992 VW Corrado SLC. love this car, and will never get rid of it. I have had it for 8 years and its been nothing but headaches but a blast to look at and to drive
01-03 1986 VW Golf GL. was my winter beater and loaner for friends when their cars were down. no power ANYTHING. but was a great car.
03-04 1999 VW Jetta VR6. It was white and sold it because of that. Good car though.
04-07 2003 VW GTI VR6 Freakin' LOVED that car. Stupidly traded it for a.....
07-08 2004 VW R32 put about 30k miles on it in about 10 months. was awesome car but I commute 120 miles a day and gas costs were killing me
08-now 2008 Mini Cooper S. just picked her up yesterday. I am IN LOVE!!!!

Notice the trend. I have driven all VW's. they were great but now my needs have changed (gas) and i didnt want a diesel cause i am a heavy equipment mechanic and didnt want to listen to cleck clack cleck clack during my personal driving time, plus i have a lead foot

i wonder how the list would change if one sad 'owned' as in you had titles to the cars. leased does not count, nor does cars on a loan.

That would drastically change things. My number would go down to 4 then.

Oh, come on... cars on a loan count. Just cause you're paying for it as you go, it's still your car.

I've never "had" any of my cars. I didn't love them in that way.

Hey TexasCoope! I have an 85 AMC Eagle!

Here's my list...bikes are a whole other list, but i'll stick to cars here:

Well, here I go, most recent first.

2005 Mini Cooper S (BRG/W)
1994 Jeep YJ Sahara (Gold)
1993 Jeep Cherokee Sport (Silver)
1989 BMW 325i (Zinnoberot - best car colour ever made)
1987 Honda Prelude Si (Black, had it two weeks)

Of course I've driven almost every production vehicle in existance in North America through my father, who is a top automotive journalist. I get the duty of having to help him wrangle vehicles, and also to help him evaluate things! Among those are...
Bentley Continental GT, GTC and Flying Spur
Audi R8 (twice), RS4, RS6, S6, S8, S4, etc etc
BMW M5, M Coupe, M Roadster, 335i, 650i/Ci, etc.
Mini Cooper, Cooper S convertable
Mercedes S55, E55, E55 wagon, SL65, SL55, G55 etc
Lamborghini Gallardo (Essentially an Audi...)
Porsche Cayenne Turbo/S, Cayman S, Carrera 4S, Turbo w/extra horsepower package (a $20,000 option)

The most eye catching of all was in 2003 when we had a Smart Fortwo... nobody in Canada had ever seen one, people were amazed by it. Second to that was the new Beetle in 1998 or whenever that came out... there were people who just stared, amazed... someone got in to an accident because they were looking at the car. Another guy stepped off the curb and fell over, and kept looking as we drove away.
